Nia Dennis returned from the Covergirl Classic with a top ten finish on vault, some awesome memories of hit routines, inspiration from all of the older gymnasts, and the fun of signing autographs for kids not much younger than herself. As one of only two 12 year olds competing as a Junior International Elite, Nia found herself competing with the best in the USA and, indeed, in the world. What she also learned is that she has only one speed… and that is FULL SPEED. Even race car drivers slow down for the curves so Nia also came back with some knowledge and experience that she can put to good use as she enjoys learning new skills for next year.
