Buckeye Gymnastics opened in November 1982. In January 1983, Buckeye opened the doors to their new 4,680 sq/ft gym near Worthington.
The total enrollment of Buckeye at that time was 52 children. Twenty-five years later Buckeye operates in over 45,000
sq/ft of space in Powell and Westerville and serves over 3,000 students each week making it by far the largest and most successful
gymnastics school in Central Ohio. Over the past 25 years Buckeye Gymnastics has won more State Team Championships (39) than any other
gymnastics school in Ohio. Our teams have placed second an additional 15 times.
But most of our students never become gymnasts. They run track, play soccer, dive, cheer, dance and they do everything else under the sun as they build upon the solid basics they developed as students at Buckeye Gymnastics. Buckeye offers one of the largest and most accomplished preschool gymnastics programs in the Midwest. Our school-age recreation programs provide expert instruction on all Olympic gymnastics events for girls and boys plus instruction on trampolines. All of this quality instruction is provided in our large, clean, safe, air-conditioned gyms in Powell and Westerville. |
