Trampoline and Tumbling (TNT) competition is the fastest growing discipline within USA Gymnastics. This fun sport is growing by “leaps and bounds” or should we say by “handsprings and flips”. However you say it, TNT is a blast.

But the fact that flying is fun does not change the need for hard work and dedicated training. That is why the Buckeye Flyers are the top rated tumbling team in Ohio and are the 2nd ranked team in both trampoline and double mini-tramp. It is also why Buckeye Flyers won three individual National Titles in San Jose in 2009.

Trampoline competition is governed by USA Gymnastics and includes not only trampoline but also power tumbling and double mini-tramp. These three events are contested within the state of Ohio, throughout the region, nationally, and internationally. Trampoline is an Olympic sport and Tumbling is expected to be introduced to Olympic competition by 2012.

 

 

The Buckeye Flyers is open to both girls and boys from the beginning through advanced levels at our Powell gym. Audition required.

Participation on the Flyers is determined through an audition process. It is not that we want to eliminate anyone who wants to participate, it is that we want the girls and boys who do participate to have the skills, aptitude, attitude, and supportive parents that will allow them to succeed as a member of a competitive
