Buckeye News

The Buckeye Westerville Gym has been transformed.

The 6,000 sq/ft addition to the Westerville gym is mostly complete and the expanded gym is now ready for all of our students to use. Our rec program enjoyed the biggest boost in the space devoted to their training with a second floor, a dedicated vaulting area, an additional five balance beams, four additional bar stations have been or will be added, a 30’ tumble-tramp has been added, and the Buckeye Bears preschool space has grown. Plus the Ninja Gym area has been reconfigured and expanded.
The girl’s team area has added an additional vault, two additional uneven bars, five beams, and a new floor.
Several projects still remain to be completed. The parking lot is a mess and needs to be completely resurfaced. That project is scheduled for August when the gym shuts down for two weeks for deep cleaning and maintenance because the driveway and parking lot project will mean that the gym will have to close. The second big project, adding additional eating, will also be done in August when the gym closes.
Thank you for your support and patience as we expand and improve the gym. The new space and equipment means more opportunities for training, many more turns and less time waiting in line.
