Buckeye head girls coach, Kittia Carpenter, is now the Region 5 Junior Olympic Chair Person. This means that she oversees competition involving almost all the gymnasts in the five state region at levels 3-10. This includes organizing and directing Regional Championships at Levels 8, 9, and 10; all the Regional Training Camps and Awards; the Region 5 Team and Competitions; plus Kittia now sits on the National J.O. Committee and has both a voice and a vote on the composition of the compulsory routines and the way age-group competition is organized in the USA. This is a HUGE deal and wonderful accomplishment. We are very proud of you Kittia!
